I'm thinking of that Spongebob Episode where Spongebob is trying to see what's in Patrick's secret box, and Patrick takes off his BFF ring, and it has Spongebob and Patrick dancing around going "Best Friends Forever! I went to China over spring vacation with the choir. It was very fun. I'm too lazy to type up everything we did. Basically we sang at 2 formal concerts (which were both packed) and had one informal concert with another university choir. We ate a lot of food, went to a pearl factory (where they grow, harvest, and prepare pearls for sale), a silk ... factory (for lack of a better word), and a jade "factory." I don't know what to call those places. We did a lot of shopping. We also visited Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden Palace (which unfortunately doesn't have that long flight of stairs like in the movie Mulan. That really bummed me out), and t

Very busy. No time for this. Maybe during the summer. In choir for spring vacation, we're going to China (Shanghai and then Beijing) to sing. It'll be awesome. Last semester we went to Portland, Oregon to sing at 4 high schools there. Stayed in the shadiest motel. There was that fake grass they use in mini-golf and dark blue lights in the outdoor hallways. Sang the Messiah last semester at a professional venue. We'll be singing Mozart's Requiem this semester. Good stuff. Happy as a tree. Each day seems very short but very long at the same time.
